really hassle free? We always thought and were told so by Verizon that you could return as many phones within the 15 days of the original phone being purchased. This was December 2nd, and we have returned three phones since then and the store manager told us last night that this exchange was the last one he would except as the Verizon policy is only one exchange!
We called Verizon and that said that we have 15 to return or exchange as many phones as we wanted to.
Who is correct? The store manager or the person at Verizon's 800 number?
Thanks in advance.

This is verbatim what the Worry Free Guarantee states
Your satisfaction is guaranteed on any equipment you purchase from Verizon Wireless.
"We provide a 15-day satisfaction guarantee on any product you purchase from Verizon Wireless. You only pay for the service you've used. See Verizon Wireless' Return/Exchange Policy brochure for details."
Now, with that being said, returning three different phones is a little extreme. What is wrong with the phones that you keep exchanging them?

The WFG is 1 exchange for a different phone, I am surprised they did 3, couldn't all be bad?!?! I don't think I would want to keep hanging out in store that many times..

So what your saying is the 15 day worry free guarantee is a lie and Verizon is basically misleading customers?
Thought so! They should put the one phone exchange only policy next to the "hassle free" policy as it isn't really hassle free or a 15 day worry free policy.
Concerning the trying three different phone parts... It's not like you can check out call quality in store, as well as other functions until you take it home. Some folks want to get what they pay for and the 15 day hassle free policy isn't what Verizon advertises it be.

You could do it for the rest of your life and we'd be out 10,000 phones that we couldn't resell as new and would just have to take a loss on. No logical person should think that it's "free exchanges ad infinitum" (That means forever, Titan, in case you didn't know) Do you think that the policy as you are practicing it is logical to ANY business model??

Actually, I called Verizon CS and they said that you could return ANY phone from the original date (which in my case was 12/2/06) and you have 15 days from that time to return exchange a phone (which in my case would be 12/17/06).
So, it seems that Verizon either has two "hassle free policies" or Verizon needs to be much clearer on the policy not only to consumers but to its employees as well.
Also, I thing that it would be hard to test/return 10,000 phones in that ammount of time.
Either way, I plan on cancelling the contract on our phones and talking to the dean of the university when we meet next week to drop Verizon and switch to someone more reliable and honest.

Ah...good luck finding a company that will accede to your demands.
And, Mr. college student, that 10,000 phones thing is called a "hyperbole". Look it up.

Also you say "honest and reliable"? Every provider has the same policy. Nobody is going to let you try out as many phones as you want. Like Texan said im suprised you got away with three.

That would be "Mr. Professor! Unlike you, I'm not minimum wage and $175 per line is chump change to me.
