Help-how can I set up voice call on my razr v3? Instruction book says to scroll to voice name and press and hold record button while saying name. That bit's okay. It's then supposed to prompt me at which point I repeat the process but it doesn't prompt so I can't use the function. Instructions seem straightforward-is it the phone's fault?

go to voice name hit the center button then it prompts once you have it set up hit the voice key(bigest sliver key on the side without the notch) and it will prompt you to say a name

Hi thanks for the the info.Still can't get it to work. Can record a voice ok but can't save it to a name, thus voice dialling does not work.Any more help would be great.

Do you have to contact saved to phone and not SIM memory?

The contact is saved to phone but I have subsequently contacted Tesco mobile and the phone seems to be faulty as I can record a voice but does nort allocate the voice to a contact-it just saves it as a voice file. Have tried system reset, talked through the process by my operator. If you have any ideas which might save me from returning the phone and being without it while it's repaired, they'd be more than welcome!

you browse to contact, then edit, go to voice name then record. Then hold the voice key and say the name

Thanks-I've done that and it doesn't work. A colleague of my husband has the same phone and it works as it should according to the manual instructions. It's definitely a fault with the phone and it's being sent away for repair.
