I want to get a clunky phone for my folks, as they are old and can't read these small keys, but I don't want to sign a contract. Is it possible for me to buy a to-go phone, and put my t-mobile sim in it?

if its a branded tmobile phone and it allows sim then yep it will work...

Any unlocked GSM phone AND any T-Mobile phone (they all use SIM cards).
