Ok I have my 2 every year thing ready. Ive always had shitty phones in the past so this time I am gonna take my time and decide. First off are there any phones that I should be waiting for that are not out yet that will be much better then the ones out now?

Right now I am looking at the Vx9900. Ive never had such a big phoen but i think i would like all the things i can do with it. The only thing worry about it is that I will prob end up spenign a lot of money on all the services. I like to be online all the time..how much would i be spending a month if i want A LOT of txt messeging, email, and Vcast. Tmobile seems to have better plans for this but i hear they suck coverage wise.

I was also looking at the 8300 and the 8600. all i can see in diffrience from the 9900 is that there is no qwerty keypad.

anyway..any suggestions?

also wondering if it was worth it going with a smarthphone or PDA. Again..how much would the monthly service for that cost?

hah i really would love to go to tmobile cause there plans are cheaper and the sidekick looks sweet..but i just checked their coverage area...wow is horrible.

So i stopped by the VZ store today and checked out the 9900. I really like it. It seems like a solid phone with a lot of capabilites and typing on the thing is very easy. I like the way the 9800 opens better but the new one is ok as well. I tested out a bunch of the features but the main one i want to use didnt seem to work right.

Instant messenger..when i logged in..had like 20 people on my list 3 logged in and like 17 offline. Now i have about 300 people on my buddy list...Yes i agree they shouldnt all show but atleast it should show the 30-40 people online at all times..not 2 or 3 of 40. Anyone have experience with this or is this just a glich that tech support could fix.
