doesn't seem to work for the Rizr though -- had a krzr and settings worked well

The rizr uses these settings

my son has an unlocked KRZR from TMobile; I'm using an AT&T sim card/service, we can't use browser or MMS features despite using cingular settings from At&t techi. She told me those features may not work as a result of using a phone purchase elsewwhere. Ideas? *I tried to pull up a link posted by moderator to a similar post but the link is no longer active.
