I am new to the forum. I live, part time, in Mexico and travel back and forth to the US. An unlocked PDA is key to keeping all my phone and other info needs in one place. I presently use a Treo 650, but recall a difficult time in convincing Cingular that I would honor my contract in the US, and that my travel in Mexico necessitated that Cingular assist in unlocking my phone for use on the Telcel system when not in the US. Finally, after several days and discussion, my phone was unlocked, only to have to go through the entire procedure a month later when the 650 went kaput. It has been replaced, unlocked; and, I am reasonably happy.

In any event, it is time to think about another phone and I joined the forum to get some ideas about my next move. Poor Palm seems to have lost its way and I am nervous about continuing the eight year relationship. So here I am and, hopefully, I will get some insite from your forum.

honestly the 9500 is all you need, its incredibly fast for how old the phone is, some of the pda's today don't even compete with it.
