I have a few questions about T-Mobile's internet package. I am planning to purchase the T-Mobile Dash.
1. It includes unlimited instant messaging, correct? An IM isn't charged as a text message?
2. Does it tell you when you are roaming when using the internet?
3. All plans include using your phone as a modem?
4. Does the internet work anywhere where there is T-Mo coverage (not roaming)?
5. How fast is the EDGE network? (on average)
6. I travel to San Fran a lot and I heard pretty bad things. We usually stay in downtown. How's the coverage?
7. Is unlimited, UNLIMITED? Any limits on amounts of data?
Edited:
8. Can you upload photos from the phone to the web, or send to email, free of charge?

You should be able to upload pictures on a dash since it uses internet explorer. And if you are in an edge area you can expect speeds around 100-180k from my experiences.

If you send them via an email, it doesn't count as picture messaging, correct? Then I can just log into gmail and send it to myself.

Really? I'm very suprised about that, thought you would be able to do it. You can always email pictures into yahoo photos to get them in a album enviroment.

Well... I am mainly interested for when I am travelling, so the pictures aren't taking up room in my memory card. However, I don't plan on taking lots of pictures on it.
I was also wondering does T-MobileWeb($5.99) will work on this phone? I don't plan on doing any major web browsing, just some e-mail and some light web browsing. This would be much better because of the price. Not sure if it works on this phone though.
