No, you need to hook up the usb or just take the card and put it in your computer's card reader, just transfer the Mp3s to the memory card.

make sure your phone is in mass storage mode, its in your settings menu

it is on mass sotrage
and when i plug the usb in the "New Wizard" windows pops out
so i install and then what ?

have windows automatically find the drivers, it should be standard w/ xp then just drag and drop the mp3s

you could always crack open you user manual ................ cs wont beavle to help you due to music xfers arenot supported by cingular service , you can call lg

I didn't have any software, so when the wizard pops up, hit cancel.
Then your computer will recognize a mass storage area open. From here you can drag and drop your music, or pictures.
Did it today, worked great

I pluged in the phone in to the USB port, and cancled the instalation wizard as the manual said to. No removeable disk is appearing. Any thoughts?

Do you have a memory card in the phone, if you don't mass storage won't come up.
