in order to test your phone try to send a contact a picture or something usin the phone ir port, than you´l be shore where the problem comes from. if the phone does not work properly send the phone to a sonyericsson serviçe center where they can test and if necessary fix the problem. If not review the settings of the data tranfer speed it should be between 9600 and 11520. Hope that is any help.

yes i have had the same problems, and the cable doesnt work too well with the phone anyhow, however to get it2 work i had 2 uininstall mobile phone monitor and the reinstall it, restarting before i ran anything to get it 2 work dan
