Hi
My T300 does not work with the MA-620 IrDA, its all installed on my computer and the phones ir is on, but the computer does not find the phone. I've tried everything I know but it still does not work.
Has anyone had this problem and fixed it or can someone help

put the baude rate down for the 620 it then works better m8

I have turned up and turned down the speed but the problem is still there.

Have you downloaded and installed 'Mobile Phone Monitor' from the SE website?
If not, do it and it should fix the problem.

Thanks for that but it still does not work, it might me something wrong with the phone its self. Is there something on the phone i can do or test the phone?

are you using the mobile action software? make sure you downloaded the corect one - either for the usb or serial. Set the rate at 9600.

I have tryed that but it just does not want to work. All of the software is the right stuff and the setting are right. Is there something up with the phone or has this happend to someone else and if so did than fix it.

if you are using the mobile action software then check in the settings on the menu and make sure it shows the correct connection ie ir on usb and not serial

Yes the settings are set to USB

in order to test your phone try to send a contact a picture or something usin the phone ir port, than you´l be shore where the problem comes from. if the phone does not work properly send the phone to a sonyericsson serviçe center where they can test and if necessary fix the problem. If not review the settings of the data tranfer speed it should be between 9600 and 11520. Hope that is any help.
