Since my last post asking which headset would be best..i got a wep200 for christmas and the first one i got..did not come w/ user manual or ear hooks so they took it back. the second one i got..completely FAKE!
so i would say just buy it from a credible store!
please look up and compare the fake ones with the real ones.
t-mobile is selling them for 39.99 in the online store.

Is T-mobile selling fakes or real ones?

The one at T-mobile online is Bluetooth version 1.2. The latest WEP-200 is Bluetooth version 2.0. I'm not sure if it makes a difference. The WEP-210 is coming out soon.

yeah but i didn't think that they made more than 1 version of the wep200..i ordered the one on t-mobile to try it out and see how that goes..it was only 50 bucks after shipping and handling.
i'll be sure to post after i get it to let you know if it made a difference or not. i really don't want mine as an "all the time" thing. i just need it for when i'm driving. i feel really hazardous driving and shifting and trying to talk at the same time

okay, i just got off the phone w/ samsung and they told me that the wep200 never came w/ bluetooth version 1.2 and that it must be a typo on the website. so, i'm happy i ordered, but i wish i would have known that samsung had them on sale but i got a good deal nonetheless

I don't doubt what Samsung told you, but I think they did make 2 versions. It says in big, bold letters on the heatset's box: "Bluetooth Version 1.2". I've talked to Samsung a couple times and I don't think those people know what they are talking about. They seem unsure and I feel like when I ask them a question they just take their best guess and try to get me off the phone so they can move onto the next caller and do the same thing. Long hold times. 15 minutes average and then transfered to another dept and hold for another 15 minutes to ask a simple question. Bottom line, I don't trust them.
softmogu, let me know how it turns out when you get your headset.

it came in a brown box w/ t-mobile packing ino..but inside the box it came in the orignal samsung wep200 box.
and it paired great w/ my phone, it sounds great and didnt take a long time to get it fully charged. did you already get yours from samsung? the only problem w/ t-mobile is that they didn't let me choose a color, it comes standard black.
