The policy is not normally broken due to lenght of service, if that was the case my electric bill should be way lower! Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings but getting a new every 2 discount when your 10 mo's out is asking alot.. And if you are eligible for ne2 you aren't paying more than new customers..

One last thing, the early upgrade program IS what it seems, does not indicate anyway one can get their New Every 2 early.. It is EARLY upgrade.. and it is not a new program. (The amount to be considered a qualifying price plan to be eligible to upgrade early is lower but the early upgrade been around for awhile.)

The $150.00 rebate is if new customer or eligible for the NE2 discount, the acturl mail in rebate is $50.00 therefore if elig for NE2 you can deduct $100 ne2 and $50.00 for rebate.. Early upgrade never includes the ne2 discount. (Well except during the holidays, if one was eligible for their ne2 by end of January they could.. |
I know it's doesn't include the NE2 discount. I just think it's absurd that a new customer, with no loyalty to the company, gets $150 off a phone... whereas I have to pay $100 more. I completely understand the structure of the upgrade options; I just think it doesn't make sense.

Well, like all business if they tell you the wrong price and it's noted with the wrong price, they have to honor that wrong price - if they say no, speak to a manager. This has happened to me everywhere I go - Walmart, Walgreens, Cingular, etc.

While it may not make sense to you, it does may sense...you could/may have upraded early and received a discount, after 12 mo's, on a 2 yr contract, you cannot get the new customer price unless you have 22 months since your last upgrade. then it is the same..Sorry Bud, but companies aren't in business to give things away for free that they have to pay for, ie reason for the contract. And contrary to poplar belief, wireless companies pay for the phones to Moto, Samsung etc, they too have employees to pay to make the phones..Just like wherever you make work... Have a great one.

BTW. where do you work? Thinking if I am a consumer with your company might be capable of getting something free! Cable, electric, landline hey, I am open to free things myself.. so what company do you work for? Sure you must work somewhere, right?

It is this simple, If it is an annual upgrade.then you renew your contract and your not a new customer (your contract is not up yet) if you are out of contract then you are like a new customer again, so you get the mail in rebate. It is not that hard to understand, i know most of you do but some people dont. Also dont forget the 20$fee
