I recently tried to turn on my v3i and it wouldn't. So i researched the problem online. I tried to follow the tips ppl provided and i guess i just did something wrong. I just don't know what the problem is. I don't wanna have to get a new phone after having this one for about 3 months. So, if anyone could help me out, please do so. I would be willing to even send the phone to someone to assist me in this problem.

Sounds to me like either the battery's donezo or a hardware fault, send it back for warranty

I don't even think i have the receipt so i have no proof of purchase or anything. When i bought it i think i declined warranty just for the reason it costs more.

Is the company Cingular? Try their insurance plan. You need a backup phone though. They will attempt to call you to make sure you aren't trying to get away with fixing your phone asap. (which you are) I waited a month when my Razr had problems and used my old phone for that month. They sent me a brand new Razr and I shipped them the old one. It's a v3i, so it has iTunes right? If so, if you have a once-in-a-lifetime chance of getting it to turn on, copy every thing important to the memory card.
