My phone's battery is dying out slowly and a new battery will cost me almost 40 bucks and I just noticed I have my new every two discount upgrade to use.
I like the new LG env but I feel it's going to be a little too big for me to carry it around in my suit pocket.
I really want a candy bar style phone this time instead of a flip open phone, my ideal phone would be the motorola Slvr l7, however it is not offered via verizonwireless. I might very well just go with a razr, chocolate or the LG VX8600.
Before I use my wonderful discount, I just want to find out if anyone knows if verizonwirless is plan on releasing any new phones soon? Possible the Slvr?
I know I will be kicking myself if I used my upgrade and a new phone I liked was released in the next couple month.

I actually have the same question. I love the chocolate, but I know as soon as i get one, the new "black label" chocolate II will be released in the states. Anyone have any input on this?

This seems nearly impossible to keep up with.
I used to be really into Hi-Fi audio equipment, every 2 weeks a new speaker would come out and cost $4,000 more than the $12,000 pair that were "the best" last month.
What I've found is, try to "buy ahead". Top of the line now in 6 months will be just ok, which is cool with me.
What's more, I stopped getting caught up in the swirl of trying to have the latest--it can't be done.
If you need a phone now, get one you know you like man, and the enjoy the heck out of it!

Same thing here...New every2 is coming up next month & I've been doin my homework on the phones available... dont want to get one just for the sake of a new phone when my current LG 8300 does the job...I sure do like the Razr Red & Blue that I see other companys have...why is it that if a phone is made all companys that sell that style dont offer all colors....you know us ladies & our fav color....

Just a guess....but I'd say Mid Feb or so. It makes sense to make it available around Valentine's day from a marketing standpoint.

Keep an eye on this site and phonescoop. that's really the most reliable way unless you know someone in the upper echelon of VZW.
