I purchased a T Mobal V3 , I had it unlocked to work with Cingular. After unlocking the phone works fine but the battery life is only 8 to 10 hours . I replaced the battery with the same results. I searched this sight with no luck with this problem.
Phone charges just fine. I a working battery from another phone , no good. I put the T Mobal battery in my existing phone and it worked fine, 36 to 48 hors on a charge. I must be something in the phones program. I did a master reset to put all programs back to factory.
Am I missing something or can you make any suggestions. The phone is no good as is.

Turn off bluetooth unless you're using it, and turn network speed to slow

You don't need to put on caps lock I can read. However, what I would do in this case is flash the phone with a cingular monster pack, and be sure to back up your phone, check out the tutorials in the Tut. Section.

Try the battery fix as well:
Run phone till battery dies
Remove battery for a few mins
Replace battery but do not turn phone on
Charge phone overnight with battery off
