I have a VX8300 with a 256mb mini SD card. I have everything set to save to the card, but I am getting a 'phone memory full' message whenever I try to dowload something. I cleared evrything that showed in the phone memory except two ringtones and two pics.
I have power cycled the phone, but the problem remains.
Anyone run into this problem or have a suggestion?
Thanks PR

You have the wrong card in your phone. If you look on the little door that covers the card slot it says Micro SD, not Mini SD. They can be had on various spots on the web for as low as 64.00. I have 436 songs on my card, about 31 hours.

Thanks for the tip, but I checked and I do have Micro SD card in the the phone and it shows about 3 MB being used. The phone still shows all memory completely full and no memory available.
Any other ideas out there?

Just another note on my issue, when I check info on the Get it Now menu, and then check memory it sayas my memory is full due to applications. When I check the log it only shows Sony music box (install twice?) and Fox Sports Mobile intalled. I cannot find anywhere to delete these apps........

How are checking this?
Are you going Menu, Settings & Tools, 8. Memory, 2. Phone Memory OR 3. Card Memory? If so, it should give a bigger breakdown.
Also, things like calendars will take up a lot of memory, too.
[edit] Also, the suze of card is irrelevant when it comes to downloading items for your phone. If it's purchased through Get-It Now, you won't be able to remove the media lest you hack your phone.

I have been checking with the Settings & Tools, 8. Memory, 2. Phone Memory & 3. Card Memory options. The card has 3Mb while the phone shows 28MB used and none available.
I did download some items from the Get-It-Now menu, of course when I go there now it tells me memory full.
It sounds like I need a hack or a trip to the Verizon store. I just do not have a lot of faith that I will find a knowledgeable person there for this issue.
I thought I might find a way to dump the memory in the 'hidden' menus but could not find a selection to do the trick.
Bummed out.
