You need to enable the Java Application Loader, which must be done as a sort fo "hack". Reference the FAQ's on this page on how to do that, and where to get the software to do it.

i found this
All you need to do is get Mobile Phone Tools up and running with your USB cable and go into the File Transfer section of the Multi Media Center. On the Phone Side of the transfer window find the MMC(Removable) folder in your phone (Thats the Transflash card) and click on it. Click on the mobile folder (not the itunes folder). In the window it have three folders (Picture) (Audio) and (Video). Go to the top portion of the window there and make a new folder. Rename this new folder (KJAVA). Instead of creating a new folder named (KJava) It will move you to your pre-existing KJAVA folder.
You can slide your .JAR files right in here (Thats the file extension of the games!! lol)
After you have these files transfered, use your phone to access the Java Games/ Apps section and select SWITCH STORAGE DEVICE. Switch it to card and point to the INSTALL NEW text you see there.
however, my motorola phone tools has no "file transfer section"

I tried every thing to transfer media or songs to my phone. Let me tell you the easiest way. I am telling you it is truely a breeze if you just listen.
You just need to purchase a micro SD memory card. The 512mb ones sell for $25.00 or less. Put the card into the phone. Plug the phone to your computer with usb cable and it recognises it just like a removable drive or flash memory. Just highlight your compatable media files, right click and send them to the drive/phone. The slvr l7c does not have java it has some new improved platform. So as far as games go you are better off just spending a couple of dollars and downloading the proper games for the phone. It is really very easy.
