I have a Cingular Motorola V551 with an ATT blue SIM card. Text msgs work fine. However I cannot send or receive pics, nor can I download ring tones. Cingular had me change a few settings in "Web Sessions", and use the mMode as the default. I used my son's Cingular SIM card in the phone and everything worked perfect. I was able to download ringtones and pics with his SIM card. I really do not want to change new plans just to get a Cingular SIM card. Any help would be soo soo appreciative. I am so frustrated on this.
Thanks for your time

Those features tend to be proprietary. IE they use proprietary software on the phone. Might have something to do with "reflashing" it with the right software. I thought att was cingular tho...

Att is cingular, but Mmode and MEdia Net were never combined, for the simple reason that ATT customers would all have to reprogram their websessions for Cingular.

Sounds like you still have the Cingular websessions on default. With the blue sim, you need to be sure you can access Mmode, is it still pulling up MEdia Net?
