If you call your Own Phone Number, say to check your Voice Mail
does that use Air Time or is it considered a Mobile to Mobile Call (like Cingular does) ? ?

Thanks

That is what I initially thought. But when I asked VZW at their 611 number, they seem to think it Is Not a Mobile to Mobile call ... I guess I will need to see the first Bill to see
how calls made to my own phone number are billed at.

If you check your voice mail using *86 to call from your cell, it is NOT mobile to mobile..uses airtime mins. However you can ck your voice mail from a different ph#, ie call your cell, press # to interrupt greeting, enter password.. does NOT use your mins..Reason being, you are not answering your cell, simply calling it, airtime mins are not used if not actually answering the call. (Good way to figure, anytime you hit your green send key ( expect with few exceptions) and the call connects uses minutes.

I understand what you are saying, but that apply if I have the 450 min plan which includes free Mobile to Mobile ? ?
That type of call is Not supposed to use billable AirTime
Also I have heard from some people, that if you call another
person, even if it goes to their voicemail, that you still get
charged with airtime

Calling your vm using *86 is not mobile to mobile, it is actually calling a voice mailbox # but calling from a landline, you are not answering on your cell so does not use airtime , ie out of your 450 pk mins. If you call someone, leave a message on their voice mail, it is using your minutes because it is an outgoing call that is connecting to another line but does not use theirs because they did not pick up the call. Hope that helps!
