My display is completely broken (cracked), and my problem is that I kept my phone book on the t720, and not on my sim. Now I want to copy the phone book to my sim card before I send it in for repair, but of course the problem is that I can't see what I am doing .
Now my questions is: Can somebody tell me what buttons to push to copy my entire phonebook.

sorry...I was playing with the phone but I can't see where it has an option to send to the SIM card once it has already been saved to the phone.

Well, I looked at some of the .pdf manuals and reference files of the T720 on the internet, and I have a reference guide, wich explains that you have to go to the phone book, press the middle top button and select 'copy entries'. But I can't do it myself with just this reference guide, because I have to know for instance how much lines I have to press down to get to this option, in the options menu.
I really hope this can be of any help figuring this out...

No, sadly it still isn't working. I found a friend who had the same telephone, but even then it didn't work. I am still trying to find a way to copy it. I also tried a datacable. You can easely copy the phonebook via the datacable. But I just couldn't get the damn thing working. I tried it on win XP/98/2000, but nothing worked.
I hope it works out for you, and if you find a solution, please post it in this thread.
Here are the buttons you apparently have to push to copy youre phone book (they didn't work for me):
1 -arrow down- (for the phone book)
2 -options tab- (middle top button, for phone book options)
3 -9x arrow down-
4 -select- (top right button)
5 -select-
6 -type '1'-
7 -select-
8 -select-
9 -type '499'-
10 -select-
11 -select-
12 -type '501'
12 -select-
It should copy the phone book now, but as I said, it didn't work for me.

lrietveld... did u ever find out how to copy the phonebook?
I'm having the exact same problem!!! If you press Up Arrow (x4) in the Options tab in the phonebook, it gets u to the copy entries... But what happens from thereon is a complete mystery.
The "Copy Entries" menu kinda looks like:
From(start) _____
To(end) ______
To(start) ______
What I do know is that the phone stores the memory in the first 100 places. The SIM card then picks up from 101. So I kinda figured that depending on how many saved numbers that you have, you have to copy them onto the card itself.
Now, it should look like(for example):
From(start) ____1
To(end) ___100
To(start) ___101
But where we go from there is something I can't figure out.
Hope it helps.

well, I still haven't got to copy my phonebook. As my last post said, I tried everything. At this point I have already given up.
There is one weird thing I read in youre post. As I said in my last post I got a look at a t720 of a friend of mine, and in his phone there was room for 499 phonenumbers on the telephone itself.
So at his phone, you had to enter it like this:
From(start) ____1
To(end) ___499
To(start) ___500
While at youre phone, it has to be this?
From(start) ____1
To(end) ___100
To(start) ___101
So it's a bit strange that this is different.
Anyway, good luck, and if you find a good way to copy the phone book, pleas tell me!
Maybe you could try using the data cable. It didn't work for me, but you can always try right?

First of... the data cable is a piece of crap! It didn't even recognize my phone! I deserve my $30 back.
But anyway.................... I finally conquered the mystery of the broken display.
First to my buddy Irietveld: I guess the numbers depend on either the service or the phone model. I have the 720i w/ the camera attachment. It also copies to the last number you stored on your phone.
For example, say you have 85 numbers in total. You should type 1 then 85 then 101.
It should look like:
From(start) ____1
To(end) ___85
To(start) ___101
Then you press either the top left then the top right button twice or something like that. If you play around with it, you'll get it.
The order should be like:
1 -arrow up (or another button for the phone book)
2 -options tab- (middle top button, for phone book options)
3 -Up Arrow x4-
4 -select- (top right button... to select 'Copy Entries')
5 -select- (to select From(start) _____)
6 -type '1'- (to input the first phone number)
7 -select- (to select OK)
8 -select- (to select To(end) ______)
9 -type '85'- (to input the last number)
*this number will vary on how many numbers you stored*
10 -select- (to select OK)
11 -select- (to select To(start) ______)
12 -type '101' (to input the first available memory on the SIM)
12 -select- (to select OK)
13 -select DONE (here's the tricky part, i dont kno if it's the top right or
top left... you can figure it out)
*you may have to wait a while for the phone to copy itself*
Thats all there is to it. I'm happy, the phone's happy, and the dog is happy. Good luck!
