Hello people,
I would like to get some advice for an upcoming interview for customer support rep. position with cingular, in Austin ,TX. I spoke to the recruiter and he has setup an appointment for some computer simulation test. I would like to know what all does this simulation include? Do I need to prepare something in advance? If I clear the simulation test, do I need to face an interview as well? Also, how is it to work as cingular customer support rep?
Any advice, tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I never did this simulation people keep talking about - however, I did get my position with a temp agency, so it might be different.

If it's anything like the simulations I've taken, it'll be insanely easy.
My advice: get there early, take the sim as fast as you possibly can. Twice at different call centers I've followed these steps, was interviewed that day (something none of the others got) and offered the position that day. In fact, in one instance, I was the last person in the upcoming training class.

That's pretty much the procedure (above). The tests are completely easy, and as long as you know how to answer any CS position interview questions you should be fine. The usual.Have you ever had to go out of your way to help a customer? Describe.
Have you ever been in a position where you were at fault for something at work? How did you handle the situation?
Not too difficult to sit and smile through

We are at fault at work for something EVERYDAY! I know everyone needs a job, but the best advice is don't go to the interview. That is sad but true.
