Samsung D900 SanDisk 2GB card problem

hey hey hey,

I bought a SanDisk 2GB card for my brother's phone for Christmas. Now I've got a flash cable to upgrade the firmware. The memory card has never worked, and the idea is to upgrade the phone's firmware to allow this problem to be resolved.

I have a few questions. Numero Uno: Has anyone else experienced problems with the 2GB SanDisk Memory card with a D900? If so, how did you resolve them?

Numero B: Where can i find the latest firmware upgrade for the D900 that would hopefully resolve the problemo?

Any help or info greatly received!!!

stugster - Yes but just seeing if you were the same from our other site. But you have not Updated your results on this matter for others to follow on this issue if they have a similar problem.

Finally got my USB Flash Cable to work with Windows XP2 now with help from Howards Forum. what a ? that was to get it working tried all sorts of downloads. Posted my experience here in case some other unfortunate sole has to go through a nightmare and pulling hair out too.

Any luck with the flash ? I just bought Sandisk 2 gb Ultra II, pff, silly that it doesn't work on my D900. I hope the flash can solve this problem

I had the old 2gb flash card problem, and upgraded the flash to D900DXFJ2, but it only had the .cla file and not the .tfs file, seemed to work ok, 2gb card no problem, but then noticed when you push up arrow to get the 'my menu' the phone crashes and reboots, same if you got to edit the 'my menu' from phone settings, trying D900JPFG6 next, this has the .tfs file. we'll see?

I purchased a D900 recently and just bought a 2GB Sandisk Micro SD memory card, but I am still waiting on it to get here. My firmware is "D900ADF"

Anyone been successfull with a 2 GB card ?

I have just bought a D900 for my daughter on the I-net, and I'm going to buy a card as well. Just don't want to buy the wrong, not functioning, card.
Will a phone always be delivered with the latest firmware ?

I HAD this problem, and after lots of reading, I have resolved it. I have a working Samsung D900 with a 2gb MICROSD working perfect!

Firmware located here:

Download the D900XEFK2 firmware, it will include the BIN and TFS.

Flash BOTH BIN and TFS with Onenand Downloader, and check the "Don't Auto NAND Format"

You can have it unchecked, but it will erase all your videos, contacts, and all personal INFO. I flashed my phone with it unchecked.

My camera was not working after I flashed the phone. Which was resolved by entering code:

"Reset your eeprom with the code *2767*3855# and the camera will work again."

There is no answering machine, or conversation recorder with this firmware. But the firmwares that have those options, don't allow for the 2gb microSD card.

Your firmware depends on where your phone was made. Type *#1234# to see what firmware you have, and goto the link I provided above to figure out where it is from.
