I cannot save videos or photos to the MicroSD, although the manual states that I should be able to specify whether to save to the phone or memory card. However, it does not let me do this. Since it is in the manual it must be either a bug or a bad memory card or some setting is wrong? Anyone have ideas? Thank you in advance.

In the camera options there should be a switch storage option - do you not have this?

I have tried to switch the storage source on both photos and videos and the camera says "insufficient space on storage device" which is not true because I have 500 mb of space or more when I try it. Also, I can add songs, photos and videos to the SD card as long as I do it directly through at card reader.

I tried another Micro SD, instead of some generic brand, I used San Disk and it is working fine now. So apparently it was a problem with the MicroSD and not the phone which is fortunate.
Motorola/Cingular did not supply any kind of MicroSD with this phone, it had to be purchased separately.

I couldn't tell you how to do it using Motorola Phone tools, but the easiest way to do it, is to buy a micro SD card reader (about 10-15 dollars) and put the songs directly onto the card via USB. The micro SD card should have an adapter, and then this adapter goes into the card reader which then goes into the USB port. It then functions like a storage drive that you can transfer Mp3's onto and pictures. Then you put the micro SD card into your phone.
