hi, i tried to download a new ringtone to my phone but once its complete, it doesn't show up on my phone. also, when i try to delete some ringtones, it just brings me back to the previous screen.

Delete the two .db files in audio folder and restart phone

hey thanks for the reply, can u tell me how to delete those files? i tried using the p2ktools but it cannot detect my phone.

I can't seem to delete ringtones either.
I've tried downloading various p2k tools but I can't seem to get anything to work.
I'd appreciate it if you could give me step by baby step as to how to fix it. Possibly with software links. I am running windows 2000.

Try the getting connected guide - its got pictures for XP but 2000 will be basically the same

i just bought a new razr v3i. but i am facing a slight glitch with mp3 ringtones.
i copied one whole mp3 into the sounds folder and it plays but i cannot select it as my ringtone. as i am a noob with motorola having had only nokia before this i would be glad if u help me with a step by step guide.
no idea abt p2k or MPT either

Hi, I'am having trouble deleting and putting ringtones into my phone on mobile phone tools. Everytime I try to delete a ringtone it says "Request Denied by Phone (Unauthorized(0x41))" in my audio folder and I don't know what you mean by the two .db files. Also i tried to delete the ringtones on my phone and it goes back to my previous screen. Help please?.
