Red light on side of Sony Ericsson Z300a won't turn off

I called Sony Ericcson and they couldn't help me.
It's the little tiny window on the volume thing, when I first got it there wasn't a red light and then a few weeks ago it turned on and I don't know why or how to turn it off!
Any ideas?

i don't even know what the hell model phone you're talking about. how are people supposed to help you out if you don't list the damn phone

Well This is the Sony Ericsson Forum and in the subject I did say Z300a, so Sony Ericsson Z300a, I don't know how much more clearer I could be about that.
If you're having a bad day don't take it out on me, I'm having one and I could be so much more mean in this message but I'm not.

Yeah, I was just irate that day when I posted.sorry about that, that's my fault. I don't see some of the "veteran" members here helping out in the SE forum, making newbies dislike this site. So I do apologize.
Are you talking about the light when you charge the phone? It just might be a hardware problem. It's probably just coming down on its age because the phone is a bit dated. Nothing really to worry about.

This light stays on whatever I do, I even turned the phone off and it stayed on.
There's this tiny window between the +/- parts of the volume button/status button on the left hand side of the phone.
I haven't even had the phone for a year let alone that many months and it just appeared on one day and won't go off.

IDK.I haven't had a Z500 in a long time. I might have to get a used one to check this out. I'll see what I can do.
