Motorola Phone Tools not loading File Transfer Studio

I need some help with the Motorola Phone Tools. I got it yesterday and everything seemed to work fine. I have a Motorola Razr V3. The only problem is that I could not transfer .jar/.jad files onto it. But i did not pkay with any of the options or anyhting like that. Today when I turn on Phone Tools and go to the File Transfer Studio it shows the hourglass on my mouse and then the two transfer buttons go gray and i cant brouse anything on my phone. The right hand side is just blank. Whats wrong with it? Any help? Thanks

MPT does not allow java file transfers. Check the tutorial section and look for Midway guides

Thanks but thats not my main problem, my problem is why is the File Transfer Studio not connecting to my phone at all.

Is it the V3 or the V3c or V3m? Who is your provider?

Its the Motorola Razr V3, and I have Cingular.

What version of MPT is it? Try updating to the latest version

My MPT does not recognize a Motorola v3m Razr, and it says there are no updates for MPT. What should I do?
