I need help transferring videos taken on my lg vx8300 to the computer.
I have the data cable, bit pim and all the right software.
When i collect data, i only see 2 of the "many" videos i have. Some are very long and i want to upload them to my computer.
Please guide me into knowing how to export videos, thanks

Where are you having your phone save the videos?
I have zero experiene with this, but IIRC, you have the option of saving the videos either to the phone's built-in memory, or to the microSD card (assuming that you have one).
With BitPim, the SD card is listed in the "file system" as MMC1 (or at least on my 8300 that is how it shows up). I assume that if you are saving the videos to the card that they would show up there in the My_Fix sub-dir.
If you are saving the videos to the phone's internal memory, I'm gonna guess that it should be under:
brew - somerandomnumber - mf
where someramdomnumber is really just some string of digits. for me it's 16452, but I assume it would be different on your phone.
I'm really just kinda taking a SWAG at this, but based on what I see in my phone with BitPim it seems logical.

I'm not any kind of BitPim expert or anything, but here is how I think that you'd get there (at least it's how I get there with my vx8300 and BitPim version 0.9.10):
1) with the phone connected (and detected bit BitPim), click on the "Filesystem" icon (in the left-most 'nav bar' if you will).
2) this should bring up another 'nav bar' just to the right of the one you
used in step 1. There should be a little folder icon with a "+" beside it. Click the "+" and it will expand to show the file system of the phone.
3) in this file system listing, there should be a folder called "brew". Click the "+" beside it, and you should see the contents of the "brew" directory. For my phone the listing contains "16452" "mif" "mod" and "sys".
4) Click the "+" beside the number (for my phone it's 16452, but it could be a different number for you phone), and you should see the contents of that directory. In my phone the listing contains "lk", "mf", "mp" and "ms".
5) Click the "+" beside "mf" and you should see the contents of that directory. The ".3g2" files are your videos. I think.
At that point, I think you can drag-n-drop the files to someplace on your computer and do whatever with 'em.
I've got zero experience with video stuff, so you are on your own at this point.
