ok i try 2 set a whole song .mp3 for ringtone and says its too long, then i cut it to the 30 seconds and it works. but my friend has an older model of the phone and has it to where it plays longer clips even the whole song, maybe they blocked it or somethan i guess. any suggestions? would like to have more then 30 seconds icon_redface.gif

i sent a 12 second clip to my phone with bluetooth but it blocks out the option for set as ringtone. does it have to be stored on an sd card to do this? i just have it in the phone's memory.

it has to be on the phone's memory. why would you want more than 30 seconds for a ringtone? your phone isnt gonna ring for a whole minute anyway.

I have a T629 also and i found that cutting the clip to 30secs or below is ok to set as ringtone . You must keep the bitrate at 192 or below . I use wavepad to edit the clips and bluetooth them to the phone . Also if you want to put games on the phone via bluetooth follow these directions.

1st - Type in the code *#9998*52824678255#
A message will come up saying activated. Now you are ready to install your java games.

2nd - Download a program called jad maker, because in order to install your java games you need the .jar file and the .jad and most torrents only include the .jar

3rd - Find some compatible java games to download.

4th - Send the .jar and .jad file for the game to your phone, whether via bluetooth or usb cable. I prefer bluetooth, then you can also send them to your friends phones and exchange games.

5th - The files will most likely go to your other files folder. Open the .jad and it will install the game for you then ask if you would like to play it.

*Notes*
Each time you turn off your phone you need to re-enter the code.
Some games will simply not work on your phone.
If you would like you can reply with your phone model and list the games that work on that phone
