i am trying to install a bluetooth remote control java app. on my phone, but when i run it on my mobile it says, " bluetooth remote control do not support this phone, this is because the phone do not support the JAVA Bluetooth API JSR-82".
Is there anyway that i can update the java on my motorola v3 so it supports this " JAVA Bluetooth API JSR-82".
please reply, i have been trying to figure it out for days :s
thanx.

the v3 may not have the profile for bluetooth control, as far as I know it only allows the mono bt profile, where the newer phones use multiple profiles including stereo bt and bt control

If its the V3 with CLDC 1.0 and not the V3r which has CLDC 1.1 then its never going to work.
CLDC 1.0 does not allow java access to bluetooth
