I'm trying to put Mp3s onto my motorla v3 razr using motorola phone tools (mpt). I can import/export pictures and video and export mp3s from the phone but I can't import mp3s. I've looked everywhere and tried alot of things but they dont work. Can anyone help me out that knows alot about MPT?

How big is the file? the RAZR doesn't have a lot of storage space.

I have 3.8mb left on my phone and the ringtone I'm trying to transfer is 128kb and it's a MP3 ready to be a ringtone. Whenever I click the button to transfer it over it says its transferring and when the progress bar completes a message box saying "ringtone blah blah blah finished transferring successfully"

Restarting didn't work. When I look at my free space on the phone after one of these "transfers" it remains unchanged, so I'm definately not recieving any data from the transfer.

Try using Mobiledit or reinstalling MPT and the phone on a different USB port.

Do you know where I can find a free version or trial version of Mobiledit that'll let me transfer mp3s? The only version I could find wouldn't let me.

The trial version at www.mobiledit.com should allow this.
I wonder if its a problem with the file. Post a link here or email it to me

Mobiledit won't let me do it either. Also I've tried several other files on my computer and none of them will work. I've also found out that I can't download mp3s sent to me over the browser on my phone. This is getting frustrating.
