i have pretty poor credit and right now i am on my friends sprint advantage plan since he works for sprint when he quits sprint i will obvs have to get my own phone. which company would be best to go with as far as charging the least for a deposit?

its your credit score that determines that.each carriers have their own rules.best bet . go shopping

Alltel ranges 0-1000
Sprint and Nextel range 0-750
I say range because there are several denominations in between the minimum and maximum.
Generally speaking Sprint and Nextel have lower deposits even after they stiffened them up.
