Does anyone of you know if it's possible to flash a P100 firmware on a V200 Phone? I think the Hardware is pretty much the same!? That would also solve the v200 java problem  P100 supports java.

yes, and P100 firmware support MMS with several pages (including pics and sound file. Max 50 Kb).
V200 can send only one pic without sound (max 30Kb)

why dont u flash it and let us know  well i tyr to flash my v205 with p400 firmware and it doesn't boot obviously lol... so had to flash it back

where can i get the p100 firmware? n does it work on the v200? have u tried it?

hi all
i just want to ask if the p 100 really have java ? i think that i doesnot have as i read at alot of reviews ??
anyway
if it have & can we update to v200 ?

The P100 doesn't have java  and it doesn't have the take a picture button so the firmware won't work. All we need to get java on the V200 is a Optimay insider.

of course, there are little hardware differences. that's why I've asked if anyone has tried the p100 firmware and the austrian version supports java see for yourself http://www.samsung.com/at/products/mobilephones/gsmwithcolourdisplay/s gh_p100.asp?page=Specifications

thats nicz that the p100 supoorts java ...
but can we flash the v200 to p100 ? or the camera button will not make the firmware work ???
if the java work without this button its ok for me P
couz java is more important for me from this button

not tryin to be ignorant or anything but if you want java why dont you just go buy the phone with java such as s300 s307 s200 p400 e700 e715 or something dont expect or wait for the v205 v200 to have java
