Then don't get the phone - you don't HAVE to get it. If you do get it and don't get a new contract, the no commit price is expected to be much higher.

You're acting like such a tool.
Cingular does some great things, but they also do some REALLY crappy things. Why do you react like that to someone who has an issue with Cingular. As if Cingular can do no wrong? Pffft.

Well, the Iphone's a joke IMO, there are better phones, by far, the american public is already saving up for it, I guarantee we'll have at least 25 in stock opening day, and we're an Authorized retailer

BTW Cingular doesn't set the price, the manufacturer does, Cingular's average discount with a contract is 150 bucks off of retail

Case in point: KRZR, Unlocked retail 249.99 Carrier retail: 299.99, Price w/ contract 149.99

I want the phone too, but I am not willing to dish out the money, so ergo, I won't get it.

You should do your research. ACTUALLY, it won't have Tv, its only EDGE capable, the speed of edge isn't fast enough for streaming video, unless you're in a wifi zone, but then I would just use my laptop as wifi is usually in a place where you want to sit down. Also, its not going to be a 60GB, its an 8GB for 600 and 4GB for 500.

I'll stick with my 8525 and orb.com I now have 200GB of storage space via my laptop, and I can watch youtube videos through the service, did I mention its a free service? Gotta love 3G and Wifi
