Hi there everyone
Today I got my p400 from ebay and when i checked the firmware it says:
P48ZCWF5 (has english and chinese only)
The phone is a p400 but why is it using a p408 firmware?
What is the difference?
And where can i get the original p400 firmware?

i downloaded the file, it's 280k only?
i renamed it and tried to extract it but is says it's corrupted?

Don thank you.
I got the file.
But now another problem surfaces.
I followed the steps to backup the original firmware inside,
but it says "ERR_FLASHTYPE"
I am sure that I chose Samsung P-400 and i have followed all steps corretly. I'm sure I have the port correct too.
If i skip the backup procedure and flash the firmware it gives the same "ERR_FLASHTYPE" message.
What did i do wrong?

For samsung GSM phones, anything that ends with 8 (ie. P408, S208, S108) is made to be sold in china and singapore.
They support chinese....

Yes i understand.
By this phone i have right now is actually a p400...
it's printed on the back label, on the box, manuals etc.
But somehow the person who sold it to me flash a p408 firmware into it.
There the MMS and JAVA funtions are gone.
I just want to flash the p400 firmware back to it, but somehow i got the ERR_FLASHTYPE error message.
Has anyone here flashed their p400?
