hey, as the title says what exactly is the razr's limit on ringtones? i know on my D807 its about 600kb i think, but i dont know for the razr. Could someone please tell me, thanks

What razr? The normal V3 ? If so you can get maybe 10Mb at very most

im not sure which razr it is. its a black one from cingular. sooo many diff razrs >.>

Yep - but you could post S/W version to confirm its not V3r

and you only know half of it:- V3, V3b, V3c, V3i, V3m, v3p, V3r, V3r (cingular v3i), V3s, V3t, V3v, V3x, V3xx

Thats off top of my head LOL

i dont know the S/W cuz its not my fone. its my aunts who asked me to make a ringtone for her so i did. then my uncle says its too short so yea now im here wondering the limit. are they all different or somewhat similar?

Totally different. But it sounds like you really mean the length of the ringtone which is really down to network not phone - if its GSM you can probably extend it to 30sec max. CDMA I have no idea

well its not really the length, its more of the size of the ringtone that the fone will allow to play. lik if its too big of a file or too long, it wont play it. iono if thats how it is for rzrs but thats how it is for my D807

If its a standard V3 then if its too big it won't transfer and length won't affect whether or not it will play - it will just transfer to voicemail before it has played through
