Hi guys,
I desperately need to get in contact with somebody who has been on T-mobile for more than 3 months. I need to ask them for a HUGE favour. If interested, can you please add me on msn:
disco_inferno44@hotmail dot com
I will let you know what it's about over msn!
Cheers,
Ben

I have been with T-Mobile for several years but I'm not requesting an unlock code for anyone but myself or my wife.

then contact customer service have the IMEI# for each phone you want to unlock with your email address, if you meet the requirements you usually get the unlock code and instructions within 2 to 3 days, otherwise if they don't have the unlock code they have to go through the manufacturer of your handset and then it can take at least 14 days or more as it is no longer in T-Mobile's hands as they are waiting to get the code from the manufactuere

an unlock code is IMEI specific, has nothing to do with the T-Mobile account. bcagle3, please make sure you give correct information when you post and dont be insulting either, its disreptecfull.
now then if you can get someone else to file the request with your Imei it will go through, i wont deny that. The only reason i know this is because i used to do Phone Unlocks all day for customers.
you do not need an account to unlock you phone but someone with an account needs to. a customer is allowed 3 unlock codes per year per line. and it is also not against any of our terms and conditions.
there is nothing wrong with the way you are trying to do it and i hope someone helps you out
