ok i got a new slvr and the service is metro pcs ( local thing) i have the usb cable and the mini sd card. i have installed moto phone tools, i have rsd lite and when i open rsd lite and plug in my phone to the usb it picks up the modem. and then the install new hardware come up and it tries to intall the following : Motorola USB Modem, Accessories Interface, Data Logging MCU Interface and Test Command Interface and it says i need to insert a cd or disk? it goes throught each install and says it cannot find them. i did not recive a disk or cd with my phone. i did however buy the head phones, data cable and v cast music intall disk from verizon wireless. the v cast software will not work and i knew this but a friend needs the disk so it all works out. WHAT CAN I DO?

ok i got the drivers installed and the phone is now on my pc but it does not come up on any of the drives like F: H: or G: i am using a sony vaio and no matter where i put the usb cable it does not come up as a drive or removable disk

Ok, RSD isn't needed as that is generally for GSM phones, Metro's is CDMA IE No sim card,
Goto menu, settings, connection, USB connection then select Memory card or Mass storage, then when you plug it in it will show up as a drive.

my phone does not have that on the menu what i have is : menu>settings> and then the list is ring styles>personalize>in call setup>security>initial setup>network>car setting>headset>location>connection

im trying to get mp3's on my phone. i uptade mpt and i got it to pick up the l7c but now on the task bar or mpt it does not have the multimedia feature on there? also my phone is pickup up my micro sd card but i was told just to put it in the phone and plug the usb cabe into the pc and it will pick up the sd card as a removable harddrive and it is not?

The CDMA providers really are very different from GSM - every provider has different firmware and often disable multimedia features. I don't know much about CDMA models I'm afraid and virtually nothing about the L7c. Sorry
