will my samsung s307 or my nokia 3300 work in europe? or where will they work besides the USA.

S307 is dual band. 900/1900 i think. europe uses 900/1800. so i'm guessing you could use the phone at certain areas only. i'm not sure about the nokia 3300. it'd be better if you get a triband or quad band phone.

You would need a world phone for this to work. Motorola v60qi and the Sony-Erricson T316 are the only world phone cingular offers at this current time.

i was wondering if i got a cell phone from japan will it work in the US. the reason i am asking this is becuz my cusion is in okinawa, japan right know and he says that thier a a lot of cool cell phones over thier. and i asked him if he could bring me one. but i am not so sure that it mite work over here. does any one know pls answer me.

The Samsung S307 is dualband, GSM/GPRS 850/1900 MHz.
The Nokia 3300 is dualband, GSM/GPRS 850/1900 Mhz.
[In both cases I talk about the american versions]
They will both not work in Europe (GSM/GPRS 900/1800 Mhz)
