OK, I got the pink razr v3 for Cingular for Christmas, and it was working just fine up until an hour ago. I've dropped it only about twice, maybe three times since I've owned it, and now it won't turn on at all. The thing is, I didn't drop it when it stopped working, I just put it on the charger. I'm not sure if it's just the battery or the charger that's the problem. I don't know, it could be that I dropped it too many times . I called Cingular and they said I could get a new one for 50$, which is no problem, except, I have some really important things on that particular phone (i.e. irreplacable family pics, phone numbers, and anniversaries/birthdays). My friend has a razr, and she said that she would let me test out the battery tomorrow, so I'll know if that's the problem soon enough. Oh I charged it on the car charger using an adapter, I don't know if that makes a difference. Also, there's a bit of dust on the inside of the screen, but my friends all have dust on the inside of their razrs, and they're working just fine. Please help me out, it would be much appreciated.
This is why phones should be PHONES.not life memories. And if you do use it for life memories, BACK IT UP!
On another note, I would be more than happy to look at it and possibly get the photos from it. I have taken water damged razrs apart and gotten 3 out of 7 back up and running enough to take the pictures off. hell some still run - but I got to keep them due to service fee. people insist i keep it since 1 they already got another one, and that water dameged phones typically go bad sooner than later.

Thank you, but no thank you -_-. I appreciate your input and effort to help, but I figured out that it was the charger. I charged my phone on my friend's charger, and it began working just fine. In the future, you could try being a little less rude when trying to help someone. I thank you for your help, and everyone else who posted.
RUDE?! How the heck was I rude? Its like anything that is dear to you, you make sure its safe. In the case of precious photos, I make sure I always have my photos backed up and stored on an additional hardrive other than my computer. Its just being safe.
I do hope that you back up your phone now.
A suggestion that I will have for you too, is if you begin looking for a new phone now or later, do consider phones that have a removable memory card. This way, if an internal error happens, you have a higher chance of retaining those memories. Now physical and water damage may be another story.
I recently recieved a Dolce Gabanna Razr from Motorola, and absolutly love the removable memory card feature. It will now be a requirment when .Err IF i ever buy a phone.
Again, I do recomend backing up everything.
And please, I do apologize if I did come off being rude.
