hey,


i just got a MDA from an online store,and was wondering.When i get it,is there anything I should download?like updates or all that?And when it says it can "sync" with my computer,what does that mean?THANKS for the help!

means you can sync contacts media book marks for internet media if its set up calender things and task oh and email. you have to set them all up and you should down load the new active sync update its 4.5 now not the 4.2 its free

how do i setup the mda to use my yahoo email?And can i have a custom backround?(picture).and where can i download the 4.5?do i download it onto the phone,or my laptop?

download it on to your laptop and background pic you can cange im sure not sure but mostlikely choose a pic then click use as home screen. not sure on email set up. i use a exchange email for my dash

oh you can download it from microsoft.com


and another good download is microsoft live you download that to your phone.

one more question.I dont want to get the unlimited internet rite now,but can i still use the internet if i have a wireless modem in my house?

yea if you have wifi on the phone then yep dont have to pay for the internet connection only if you want internet on the go then you have to get it.

can you please tell me what active sync update its 4.5 is?like what it does,and does it affect both the computer and pocket pc.I think i already have a active sync for my computer

it effects both its just like a update im not really sure what all it dose. but if you get active sync 4.2 its fine but a update always works too i think it just makes it able to sync with windows vista and stuff. maybe some one else can help on this topic.

ooh ok.Also,someone that has a MDA said to download something called Torrent?He said to look for files ending in otrrent,like WMV torrent etc.What is that?
