PLEASE HELP! My phone has been off for a few months. Now, when I dial the Verizon number, the buttons are not recognized. The call goes through but when the prompt tells me to press 1, 2, 3, or any number, it doesn't recognize it. None of the buttons are recognized by Verizon's phone system. What should I do? I don't want to buy another phone.[/b]

Great suggestions. I was thinking it was either a bad cable or corrosion of some sort.
