I just purchase the PN 820 cellphone for verizon wireless and can't for the life of me figure out how to turn up the ringer. I can turn up the volume on the earpiece but the phone rings so low that I continue to miss calls.
Can someone help me to figure this problem out. I have gone through the whole manual and can't figure this out.

While the phone is ringing, press the volume up/down key to adjust the ringer volume.

I did try that and it did not work. However, I did actually find where I will be able to turn that up. For anyone interested to know you will have to go to the phones profile. You can adjust each feature including the ringer.

Holy Smokes, finally! But not really.yes i've been having the same problem and it seems pretty outrageous that you would have to dig that deep just to adjust the ring volume, right?! Even so, with what you said about "profiles", i've gone in there and still can't see how to do it! Can you explain it like i'm a 5-year-old?
Another thing; what about assigning hot-keys or setting up voice-command? Although these instructions are in the dubious instruction book, nothing is working for me. Thank goodness people are starting to buy this phone and some whiz-kids will be able to figure all this out for me because i've been lost with this phone for the past few weeks since i acquired it.
I love everything else about it though, especially the idea that it's a smartphone in such a compact and light case. I'm hoping to find 3rd party software to run Excel, Work and Adobe Reader soon too.
