this is wierd i have the g1 firmware , i have just tried to flash g1 , give me this error
[ERR_BAD_SREC_ADR] ?
is there a factory reset option ?

When did that appear flash or verify?

When i tried to flash the G1 Firmware , the error appeared. Anyone Any ideas, should the phone turn on no matter what ? when it asks for power on ?

Flash it to F3 see what happens.

i have tried nearly all the firmware versions, i cant tell if my phone is on or off ? as there is a blank screen. It just wont power on !!!! Im getting really really pissed off . the cable has a data / d/l switch does that matter ? is there a way of seeing if the com port is working ?

I HAVE A WHITE SCREEN !!! I HAVE UPDATED THE FLASH AND I HAVE A WHITE SCREEN . THATS IT ? WHAT NEXT ?

1. Switch the cable to DATA
2. Remove the cable from your phone
3. Remove your battery
4. Put your battery back after 5secs
5. Put the cable in the phone [ Now your screen is white ]
6. Select the firmware and push the flash button
7. When it says 'Power on mobile' Push the on/off button 2 secs and the screen should go black leave it so.

Finally I managed to get my phone back, it flashed to french which was easy changeable. It seemed that once you disconnect you battery , and put it back on then inserted the datacable, the white screen appears, then i was able to load the software on. thanks for the help.
