Hi,
heard if I switch my regular 2 go plan to a sidekick plan, I can use it with a regular unlocked gsm for text messaging, adn I wont get carged $1 a day because the simm card is not in a sidecick. So I could make text messagong almost free  )
do I need a sidekick to change my 2 go plan? or what info would they need to make this change?

you would need a sidekick i bet. cuz it has its on network for that. but i dono if you can do pre paid min and have just a sidekick plan cuz that would be two diff sims

so if the sim card is not in a sidekick it does not take a $1 a day, and still can use unlimited txt message. that's what I want to try

That won't work. Once the IMEI updates on tmobiles system your sidekick plan will be removed.

makes sense.
Probably it was a loophole in their system for a short period of time, when sidekick came out.

Using loophole, or any mistake in the phone company's system would make me a thief?
or this sould be an other topic )
Ethics a personal thing. probably anyone could justify it so many ways. but this is really an other topic!
