That red dot behind battery you are talking about is the indecator that your fone is wet and water damage is the problem.
Do not turn fone on any more, take the fone apart, get you main board out and soak it with rubbing alcohol then dry it out and try to air try the rest of fone.
What i did is turn on oven to 175 F and cook it for 10min ( have to taki apart as much as you can)

 I bought this Used razr v3c off of ebay a couple of weeks ago. the phone was working fine for a few days then the screen started to black out for a few seconds then come back on. now the screen doesn't come on at all. I can see when the sun is bright that the screen is showing what it should but the screen doesn't light up. the outside screen is the same way. I can see whats on it only when i have bright light shinning on it, its the light that doesn't come on. WHats wrong with my razr and how do i fix it?
