pls i have a v3 that just went dead
the only sign of life is the keypad back light which stays on till the battery dies then i have to plug it to charge again b4 its lights up.attimes the back light blinks. i cant turn on/off the phone.nothing responds
pls can any1 help?

squeeze the bottom left corner and hold it while powering on and see if the screen shows.

Check the liquid damage indicator on the back of the phone - you will see it either white, pink, or white with red Xs. You can check by removing the back panel and the battery of the phone.

those ddnt work
i jst tried plugin the phone to my pc.its not detectin it as a motorolla its detecting S Flash Neptune LTE.
any1 got any ideas?
from a lil research it seems ild have to flash the phone
but i dnt knw which flash files to use and where to get the files and the needed softwares.
pls help

sounds like its stuck in bootloader, what happened before it went dead?

nothing happend that i can recall i just opened the flip nd it was dead

The flex cable may have come loose. That happened to mine. You have to take off the front cover to check. There is a tutorial on here for disassembly.

thers one more symptom i sud note. the keypad lights come on immediately u put in the battery and it doesnt go out unless u remove the battery

Yeah, check the water damage sticker, that's a symptom of water damage.

where exactly is the water damage thing.wen i take out the battery thers a round red dot i dont knw if i can take that out. and what am i expected to see if its a water damage.
1 more thing i gave the phone to a friend to flash and wen he plugged it in the phone wasnt responding
is the v3 DOOMED?!
