Hi! I went with your advice and went to colourelliot for a blank op. logo. It worked pretty well except when I charged my phone (nokia 7270), the logo went missing. A small question mark appears everytime I switch the operator logo on. I tried downloading it again from colourelliot.mywap.genie.co.uk and when I try savng the new logo and replacing the blank one with the questionmark it just says that saving failed.
Can you help me out please? Thanks!! ^_^
the SAME EXACT thing just happened to me with my 6230, the question mark appeared and attempting re-download results in "saving failed." the advice to use MobiMb is great, except i have an iMac and am not able to find that program for Mac. i can browse my phone via the iMac's bluetooth, but can't find where the operator logo is stored.
It's a Java application that you can install in any cellphone with support for MIDP 2.0 and Java Wireless Messaging API [JSR 120]. It works by sending a binary SMS of a blank operator logo to a target handset.

visit www.thenokiazone.com and click on the 'Blank Operator Logo' link in the menu and then follow the instructions
only works for Nokia OS phones, not symbian OS phones
once done you will only see your wallpaper, no logo!

Hi,
I have a 1100 Nokia phone. I downloaded some operator logos. How do I use them? When I clicked menu (after opening the Operator logo Message) I saw an option "Save & Activete". I did it. It responded "Logo saved and activated". But still I see my operator's logo and not the one I activated. Now what do I do? I tried the same on my friend's phone (also 1100), again the result was the same. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Here's the answer to do it for totally free. You'll need the mobimb. (free does not include the charge of eitehr a bt dongle, data cable or irda port).
1) search for mobimb from google. get the trial version.
2) set up ur fone connection. (im sure most ppl are familiar).
3) ok, copy this image to your phone.
right click and press save picture as in between the two > <
><
4)In mobilemb, go to the folder IN YOUR PHONE and locate the BLANK.gif.
5) Select it
6) Click actions on the menu bar.
7) Click use as
Click operator logo.
DONE!
Actually this is a bug.....u ain't suppose to be able to use the trial version of mobimb to upload op logos..try right clicking on the BLANK.gid and see the use as op logo is not clickable.....but they apparently forgot to block the actions > use as menu.....enjoy it!
i really need help! i have tried your way to set the op logo but it just doesnt show. i dont know if i have the right blank logo gif file but it is 100x50. i am using mobimb v3.3 for my nokia 7270. please help me solve this problem

My Top Tip for an invisible operator logo on your N73!
For my version of the Transparent Operator Logo for use with ANY THEME on your Nokia N73 (other phones not tested) go to this URL:-
w w w. free-ringtones-free-logos. c o m (this site only works with NOKIA phones in the UK!)
Use the search box to find "BlankOpLogoN73" (without quotes) and follow the on screen prompts, this will basically cost you the price of a normal text.
If you can't find my "BlankOpLogoN73", don't worry, simply create your own using the Logo Creator and turn the whole thing black!, this logo creator is only really for old screen types not colour screens, but the effect is perfect!.try it and see what you think
My phones to date:- Motorola SLVR7, Samsung T100, SPV C500, XDAII, Nokia 6210 (old faithful), Nokia N-GageQD & currently my Nokia N73.
