My wife and I both have unlocked Nokia GSM phones--mine is a 3120b and hers is a 6102b.
We use our phones so rarely that we're thinking of dropping our Cingular contract, paying the penalties, and getting pay as you go service.
Can we just buy some prepaid minutes at Target (or wherever) and use them in our existing phones? Or do we have to buy T-Mobile phones also?

Thanks for the reply.
Can the activation be done over the phone or through the net?
