I am thinking of purchasing a KRZR K1m. I was reviewing the KRZR K1m’s manual, and saw that “All multimedia (video player, audio player, shutter tones) will play from the speakerphone when your phone is connected to another Bluetooth device” . I was thinking of getting this phone, along with some bluetooth headphones (wiREVO Bluetooth Wireless Headset ) to listen to mp3s while working out at the gym, but if the mp3s are going to play over the speakerphone, what’s the point in having the headphones!?
Can anyone confirm that even while connected to a bluetooth device, such as headphones, mp3s play over the speakerphone?
Not to sure about the specifics, but with my own hardwares I've learned that Motorola phones do not transmit the ringtones or any other audio to the Bluetooth headsets, other brands such as Nokia however do and I've tested both. It's one of the pros and cons on Motorola but for now that type of service is not supported

think so, motos don't have AD2P (advanced distribution profile), sony-ericssons do?
Looking at the specs on moto's website, the K1m isn't AD2P capable, but the K1 for GSM carriers is, so no, bt headphones won't work

hmmm.just asked a buddy of mine who just got a KRZR and a bluetoothe headset, and he advised that you CAN listen to mp3s on it. And when receiveing an incoming call, the mp3 stops, and the ring comes through the headset.
