I've gone onto my email provider's site (Orange) and done everything it asked me to, but when I try to go onto my email messages on my phone it come up with "Connection unsuccessful". Is this because I'm using a Vodafone phone, or is it something else? Please help.

yep, you need Websessions for Orange.

See if you can search for MMS settings on orange's site, thats usually lumped with Websessions. if not, call Orange, if they offer that phone, if they offer it they might be able to give you OTA settings.
